Some Important Things to Keep in Mind
The Aransas Pass Police Department training division has a limited training budget that is sufficient for training our staff only. However, we feel that much of the training we put on for our staff is far too valuable not to share. We want to share our training with other agencies but require money so we can afford to share with other agencies. The money we receive is just enough to cover the expenses associated with providing training to outside agencies.
Dress is casual yet professional style. Halter tops, tank tops, shorts, baseball caps, and flip flops are not permitted in the classroom.
Pre-payment is not required to register. However, all course fees are due at the time of attendance. If payment is not received at the start of the first day of class the student will not be allowed to attend. (Sorry but we require your funds to cover our expenses and some have skipped out on paying.) Check, Money Order and Cash are all accepted. Make checks payable to the City of Aransas Pass, Please indicate course name on check. A receipt will be provided and/or mailed back to return address provided if payment is made before the day of class. Receipts will also be given at time of payment if one opts to pay on the day of class. NO REFUNDS once payment has been made.

Students are required to attend the entire training session so that successful completion can be reported to TCLEOSE. If an emergency arises, absences will be reviewed by the course instructor and training coordinator. Absences that exceed 10% of the total class hours will result in no credit for the course.
While attending any live-fire weapons training our training requiring the use of simuntions, it is recommended to wear body armor. For clear recognition of the firearms instructor, he/she will be wearing a red shirt therefore it is requested students not wear red shirts.
