Effective courtroom testimony by law enforcement officials is a must in today’s world of case prosecution. The hard work done by law enforcement to make a case is in vain if prosecution of that case is not successful. Successful prosecution depends in part on competent and adept presentation by the law enforcement officer who is on the witness stand to the judge and/or jury hearing and deciding the case in the courtroom.

This course is intended to teach the student the required procedures and skills needed to teach courses for TCOLE and TCOLE credit. Students will be assigned homework and will be required to work beyond the typical 8 hour day as required by typical TCOLE training courses. Students will also have to perform research, construct lesson plans, and teach short sessions on topics assigned.Find out more »
This course will teach the student the basics about Spanish and Tex-Mex which is a variation of Spanish and English used in Texas. The student will learn key words and phrases that will assist and keep the student safe in the field.
