City Fireworks Event

Independence Day Celebration!

The City of Aransas Pass will be celebrating Independence Day with its annual fireworks show.

Like last year, Police Department staff will be on scene handing out goodies for kiddos and parents. Stop by and visit!

The event begins at 6:30 pm inside Community Park located at 400 E. Johnson (See Map Below). Fireworks kick off around 9:45 pm or whenever it gets dark, whichever comes first.

There will be food, fun, and more. Come celebrate with us!

City Ordinance – Fireworks

In general, the popping and possession of fireworks within the mainland areas of Aransas Pass are PROHIBITED. This means – unless you are east of the Dale Miller Bridge (HWY 361 bridge), violations will result in hefty fines.

(See our visual illustration.)

LASTLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, we ask that you clean up after yourself. During past holidays, lots of trash gets left behind on our beautiful flat lands. Please help us keep the recreational use of fireworks legal by doing your part.

Done popping 'em, clean 'em up! Otherwise, police will issue you a citation or arrest you.

Chief Blanchard
Oh, and if you need a trash bag, stop one of the officers patrolling, he’ll provide you one. Like last 4th of July, we will be handing out heavy duty trash bags to help with clean up efforts.
