Upon arrival, the officers found a horrific scene. A mother, her young daughter, and husband were found with inflicted gunshot wounds from an apparent murder-suicide.
This incident has rocked our close knit community and impacted the Aransas Pass for Youth organization (APFY) where the young girl had been an active participant. APFY will be assisting with grief counseling services during this difficult time.
The incident has further sparked the need for increased awareness and education regarding domestic violence in our collective communities given recent events in our surrounding areas.
